Just like most other brand new cars we prepare a few areas did need to be machine polished to remove some noticeable defects, first of all however our usual thorough decontamination wash was carried out, including all iron and tar spots which were removed, and any remaining contamination removed with a claybar, the nearside front wing had actually been resprayed on this car due to some minor damage which occured in the dealership and unforunately the entire car was covered in a dusting of overspray, so extra time was spent removing the overspray before any polishing could take place, the car was then given a single stage machine polish via rotary polisher (Festool Rap150) polishing oils removed then CQuartz UK is carefully applied, DLUX is applied to any rubber and plastic trim and wheels, after 12 hours Wolfgang 3.0 was applied to the paintwork to add extra slickness (in place of reload).
